In 1957, the Lancaster Glass Corporation bought the Indiana Glass Company. And in 1962, they merged all of their companies into the Lancaster Colony Corporation. Glass was still made and marketed under the Indiana Glass name. It was about this time that they moved to a different way of numbering the items they produced.
