Apollo Studios NY, a division of Bernard Rice's & Sons made these compacts in the 1920’s. Their items were offered for sale in the prestigious Sak’s & Ovington's on Fifth Avenue in New York. The metal tops are signed either Apollo NY or Apollo Made in the USA.
