British pressed glass preWWII (and some post) generally has ground base rims.Boat shaped bowl has a ribbed pattern similar to the Sheffield and Ridgeleigh patterns. It has also been found in pink.
This boat-shaped salad dish is identified in their catalogs as part of the 2634 range (fruit set, ash trays, salad bowls, sugar, creamer...). The range was introduced in 1939 in pressed 33% lead crystal as psuedo-cut glass mainly for the export market (war time and all that so unlikely to be available in England where only utility goods were produced). Post-war it was continued in soda glass and in a range of colours, probably until at least the 1960s, for all markets. The metal leafy holders are usually seen on 1950s glass. Clear glass from this line often has a slightly yellowish tinge.
