Identification for the shoes was found in Ruth Webb Lee's "Handbook of EAPG" .
The first shoe is identified as 'Diamond' pattern slipper, Circa 1890. Lee Plate #202
The high shoe is not identified to a manufacturer but the patent for it was granted to Herman Tappan of NYC on 12/14/1886, the design #17,023. Lee Plate #201.
