Look-alikes English Hobnail & Miss America Candies
Both candy's are 12" tall. The biggest difference is that the hobnails on an English Hobnail candy to do not go all the way down to the bottom of the bowl and the foot of the EH candy is 1/2" thick and the Miss America candy is 1/4" thick. The stem on the English Hobnail piece is much thicker then the Miss America melon style stem. The tops are pretty much identical except the Miss America finial is slightly more pointed when you look at them side by side.English Hobnail is considered to be made with a better quality of glass.
