Top photo is a Medco, Swirl, Hostess Set, 2 inch shakers and 3 7/8 inch Sugar. Bottom photo is the original carton for the set. They were produced in the 1950s.
The glass is marked "Medco N.Y.C." and "U.S.A." We have no idea who the glass manufacturer is. Medco offered a line of kitchen and barware glass which was sold in food markets or given away as premiums.The only information found on the company indicates their glass was exported and seems to be collected internationally.
