According to Tom Felt's book, "L. E. Smith Glass Company" powder jars with this shape and several different lids and finials were produced in satinized crystal, blue,green, and rose.
The finial on this jar is very plain, just a ball which has the same texture which is a little closer together than the rest of the jar.
